တရုတ်နိုင်ငံကြက်ခြေနီအသင်း (RCSC) သည် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံအနောက်တောင်ပိုင်း ရှီးဇန့်ကိုယ်ပိုင်အုပ်ချုပ်ခွင့်ရဒေသရှိ ငလျင်ဘေးသင့်ဒေသသို့ အရေးပေါ်ရေအိမ် ၅၀ လုံး၊ မိသားစုသုံးထောက်ပံ့ရေးပစ္စည်းအစုံ ၅၀၀၊ အနွေးဓာတ်ပေးအသုံးအဆောင် ၅၀၀ နှင့် အစားအသောက်သေတ္တာ ၁,၀၀၀ ကျော် အပါအဝင် ထပ်ဆောင်းထောက်ပံ့ကူညီကယ်ဆယ်ရေးပစ္စည်းများ ပေးပို့ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အောက်တိုဘာ ၂၃ ရက် မွန်းလွဲ ၁ နာရီအထိ စာရင်းများအရ ရှီးဇန့်ဒေသ နာ့ချွီမြို့ ပါးချင်းခရိုင်တွင် အောက်တိုဘာ ၂၂ ရက် ည ၁၀ နာရီ ၃၃ မိနစ်၌ လှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့သော ပြင်းအား ၇.၀ အဆင့်ရှိ ငလျင်ကြောင့် လူ ၁၆ ဦး သေဆုံးခဲ့ပြီး ၇၆ ဦး ဒဏ်ရာရရှိခဲ့သည်။

ထို့အပြင် စစ်ဒေသကြီးသည် ငလျင်ဗဟိုချက်၏ ကီလိုမီတာ ၂၀ ပတ်လည်အတွင်းရှိ ကျေးရွာအချို့ကို ဝေဟင်မှလေ့လာရန်နှင့် နောက်ဆက်တွဲ သဘာဝဘေးအန္တရာယ်များ ဖြစ်ပွားနိုင်ခြေ ရှိမရှိ စစ်ဆေးရန် စစ်ဘက်သုံးဒရုန်းများကို ငလျင်ဘေးသင့်ဒေသသို့ စေလွှတ်ခဲ့သည်။
အောက်တိုဘာ ၂၃ ရက် ညနေ ၆ နာရီအထိ စာရင်းများအရ ငလျင်လှုပ်ခတ်ပြီးနောက် ပျောက်ဆုံးနေသူမရှိကြောင်း ဒေသဆိုင်ရာ အာဏာပိုင်များက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

More relief supplies allocated to quake-hit area in Xizang
BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) has allocated additional supplies, including 50 emergency toilets, 500 family relief kits, 500 warm packs and more than 1,000 boxes of food, to the quake-hit area in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region.
As of 1 p.m. Friday, 16 people have been killed and 76 others are injured following a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Baqen County of the city of Nagqu in Xizang at 10:33 p.m. on Thursday.
The RCSC Yunnan Branch also dispatched a public health emergency response team to the affected areas as part of the latest relief efforts.
The RCSC previously dispatched a working team to the disaster-hit area to guide local relief efforts and allocated 3,800 sets of supplies, including family relief kits, hygiene kits, heaters, tents, jackets, folding beds and quilts.
The Western Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army has coordinated ground and air forces to assess the damage and carry out search-and-rescue operations. More than 400 service members and militiamen from the local subcommand and police have been deployed, helping relocate and resettle nearly 500 affected residents as of 5 p.m. Friday.
The theater command has also deployed military drones in the quake-hit area to conduct aerial surveys of several villages within a 20-km radius of the epicenter as well as inspections for potential secondary disasters.
As of 6 p.m. Friday, no missing persons have been reported so far following the earthquake, local authorities said.
An analysis by experts at the China Earthquake Networks Center showed that the earthquake was an extensional fracture, basically consistent with the regional tectonic characteristics.
