ရှန်ဟိုင်းပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုအဖွဲ့ (SCO) ကို ၂၀၀၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ချိန်၌ နိုင်ငံတကာစနစ်သည် အင်အားကြီးဗဟိုချက်တစ်ခုတည်း၏ လွှမ်းမိုးမှုအောက်တွင် သိသိသာသာ ကျရောက်နေဆဲဖြစ်သည်။ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးဆဲနိုင်ငံအများအပြားအတွက် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုစနစ်သည် အနောက်နိုင်ငံများ၏ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် ဦးစားပေးသတ်မှတ်ချက်များဖြင့် အကြီးအကျယ်ပုံဖော်ခံထားရသည့် အသွင်ရှိကာ အခြားသော အသံများနှင့် အမြင်များအတွက်မူ နေရာအကန့်အသတ်ရှိနေခဲ့သည်။

Column: 25 years of SCO and the rise of multipolarity
When the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was founded in 2001, the international system was still largely dominated by a single center of power. For many developing countries, global governance appeared heavily shaped by Western institutions and priorities, leaving limited space for alternative voices and perspectives.
Today, the picture looks very different. The SCO has grown far beyond its original regional purpose. Its expansion reflects the rising confidence, influence, and strategic weight of the Global South in international affairs.
With member states and partners spanning much of Asia, the Middle East and Eurasia, the organization has become an important platform for developing countries to coordinate policies, deepen economic cooperation, and amplify their collective voice on the global stage.
