အမေရိကန်နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနက သမ္မတ ဒေါ်နယ်ထရမ့် ဒုတိယသက်တမ်း စတင်ထမ်းဆောင်ချိန် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီလမှစ၍ ဗီဇာ ၁၇၅,၀၀၀ ကျော် ပယ်ဖျက်ခဲ့ကြောင်း ဩဂုတ် ၁၀ ရက်၌ ကြေညာခဲ့သည်။
“ဒီဗီဇာအများစုကို ရုပ်သိမ်းခံခဲ့ရတာတွေကတော့ ပြစ်မှုကျူးလွန်မှု၊ ကိုယ်ထိလက်ရောက်ကျူးလွန်မှု၊ အရက်/မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံး၍ ကားမောင်းနှင်မှု၊ ခိုးမှုနှင့် မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးပြစ်မှုများ စတဲ့ ပြစ်မှုဆိုင်ရာ လုပ်ရပ်တွေ ကျူးလွန်စဥ် ဥပဒေစိုးမိုးရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်တွေနဲ့ ထိပ်တိုက်တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့တာကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပါတယ်” ဟူ အဆိုပါ ဝန်ကြီးဌာန ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်၌ ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

U.S. revokes over 175,000 visas since Trump's second term began
The U.S. State Department on Monday announced that it has revoked more than 175,000 visas since January 2025, when U.S. President Donald Trump began his second term.
"The majority of these visas were revoked due to law enforcement encounters for a range of criminal activity, with assault, driving under the influence, theft, and drug crimes being the leading causes," the department said in a statement.
"A significant share of visas were revoked for reckless driving, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud and embezzlement, and other crimes," the statement said.
Nearly three-quarters of England in drought as another heatwave approaches
Almost three-quarters of England is now in drought as conditions worsen following a dry start to August, the National Drought Group warned on Monday.
The group, made up of regulators, government officials, water companies and agricultural bodies, made the announcement after a meeting on Monday.
It warned that all regions of England are experiencing pressure on their water resources, with increasing impacts across agriculture, public supplies, navigation and the environment.
1 dead in Thailand's Nonthaburi government office shooting
The official, who was shot earlier on Monday in Thailand's Nonthaburi province, has died, according to Thai media reports.
A shooting incident occurred at the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization office building at about 11 a.m. local time. Thongchai Yenprasert, president of the provincial administrative organization, was shot in the head and rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, and was later confirmed dead.
Following the incident, the shooter, former Nonthaburi MP Chalong Riewraeng, surrendered to police.
Colombia quake death toll rises to 111
The death toll from a magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck western Colombia on Monday has risen to 111 nationwide, with 87 others injured, Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella said in Bogota.
De la Espriella said the quake damaged 1,575 homes and infrastructure at six airports, where commercial flight operations have been suspended.
The Colombian government earlier Monday declared a state of national disaster to respond to the impact of the earthquake.
