22 Indian crew rescued after incident off UAE coast
NEW DELHI, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Twenty-two Indian crew members aboard an oil vessel were safely rescued after an incident off the United Arab Emirates' Ras Al Khaimah coast, Indian officials said Sunday.
The Indian consulate in Dubai identified the vessel as MT GEM No. 2 in a brief statement posted on social media.
The consulate said it was in touch with UAE authorities and is extending all possible assistance and support to the Indian seafarers.
