NPC အမြဲတမ်းကော်မတီ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ ကျောက်လဲ့ကျိက သဘာပတိအဖြစ် ကြီးမှူးကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် အဆိုပါ အစည်းအဝေး၌ ၁၄ ကြိမ်မြောက် NPC အမြဲတမ်းကော်မတီ၏ ၂၄ ကြိမ်မြောက် အစည်းအဝေးကို ဩဂုတ် ၂၅ ရက်မှ ၂၈ ရက်အထိ ကျင်းပရန် အတည်ပြုဆုံးဖြတ်ခဲ့ကာ အဆိုပါ အစည်းအဝေး၌ ဆွေးနွေးသုံးသပ်ရန် အမျိုးသားစီမံကြီးကြပ်ရေး ကော်မရှင်က တင်သွင်းထားသည့် ဥပဒေမူကြမ်းကို ဥပဒေပြုပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များက ပြန်လည်သုံးသပ်သွားမည်ဟု မျှော်လင့်ရသည်။
၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလတွင် နယ်စပ်ဖြတ်ကျော် အဂတိလိုက်စားမှု တိုက်ဖျက်ရေးဥပဒေကို ၁၄ ကြိမ်မြောက် NPC အမြဲတမ်းကော်မတီ၏ ဥပဒေပြုရေးအစီအစဉ်တွင် ပထမအဆင့် ဥပဒေပြုရေးအစီအစဉ်အဖြစ် ထည့်သွင်းခဲ့ရာ ယင်းဥပဒေကြမ်းအား လက်ရှိ NPC သက်တမ်းအတွင်း ဆွေးနွေးသုံးသပ်ရန် သတ်မှတ်လျာထားခြင်းလည်းဖြစ်သည်။

China's top legislature to review draft law against cross-border corruption
BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislature will deliberate on a draft law against cross-border corruption, according to a meeting of the Council of Chairpersons of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee on Tuesday.
The meeting, presided over by Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Zhao Leji, decided to convene the 24th session of the 14th NPC Standing Committee from Aug. 25 to 28, where lawmakers are expected to review the draft law submitted for deliberation by the National Commission of Supervision.
In September 2023, the law on combating cross-border corruption was listed as a first-category legislative project in the legislative plan of the 14th NPC Standing Committee, which means it is slated for deliberation during the current NPC term.
According to an annual work report of the NPC Standing Committee released this March, a law on combating cross-border corruption will be formulated to advance national anti-corruption legislation. The formulation of the law was later listed as a priority for 2026 in the annual legislative agenda of the NPC Standing Committee unveiled in May.
China has been deepening its efforts in international anti-corruption cooperation, with 963 corrupt fugitives repatriated to the country in 2025, according to a work report from the country's top anti-graft body.
At the late-August session, lawmakers will also deliberate on draft laws on healthcare security and on farmland protection and quality improvement, as well as draft revisions to the Agriculture Law, the National Defense Mobilization Law, the Enterprise Bankruptcy Law, the Law on the Regulation of and Supervision over the Banking Industry, and the Water Law.
Moreover, they will deliberate on a draft amendment to the lawyers law, and review proposals submitted for deliberation by the State Council on a draft revision to the road traffic safety law and on the approval of an extradition treaty between China and Hungary.
